Commission No 2
The commission would emulate the below style of painting using the primary colours of dark blue [instead of black] and green [tone to be agreed].
The piece would measure circa 130mm x 100mm and be set in a gallery style wrap frame similar to the one illustrated in the below image.
This is the frame of the original piece you selected.
The frame comes in a natural finish which can either be treated with a clear or stain wax to achieve a natural wood finish or any colour required referencing the Farrow & Ball colour chart.
The below image shows the surface texture that I use on large pieces such as the one above.

L E Designs II
Your clients originally identified this piece from the archive as a piece of interest and suggested something similar to this with more colour.
The impact of this piece centres around the simplicity of shape and the use of stark black and white - adding colour can be difficult and I am still working on how this can be achieved without losing the simplicity appeal.
The below pieces are from my archive and are geometric in design with more shape and colour which would work on a large landscape scale but using the colours from the interior scheme.
Having looked at the colour/pattern board you supplied I did think that due to the patterns you have selected for curtains - cushions and various items of furniture I wondered if using more ORGANIC shapes in the artwork which at the same time use colours that are within or compliment the interior scheme might work better.
These are just examples of that thought and the shapes that can be used in relief style to give depth to the piece - I also considered that using a plain white frame and setting the artwork on a white backboard set the piece off well.
The first two hang in settings which contain similar patterns and finishes to your colour/pattern board.

Completed commission in situ
The thought is to compliment the clean lines and symmetries of the entrance hall - especially the panelling] with a series of three individual but associated artworks which reflect the style of artwork selected by the client and also uses accent colours within the artwork to compliment the colour schemes of environment.
The three are not a 'tryptic' as they would be stand alone artworks brought together by lines which flow from one to another to give a flowing association.
This may work well in a narrow hall where the majority of the time the artwork passed as people flow through.
Below are for example only
These three are individual artworks but compliment each other by the use of the common horizontal and vertical lines and artwork size.
Below is a white relief where the use of traceable common lines bind the three shapes together and though basic should the three shapes be separated and individually framed and hanged side by side they would still offer a visual association to each other.
The below are examples of where colour can be added to great value which is one of the elements the client would like within the three artworks without eclipsing the crispness and simplicity of the white relief work.
Below is a 'portrait' version of a white relief still a little out of proportion for your required measurements but resized suggests how artwork 1 would be the start point giving lines to then flow into numbers 2 & 3 and offers areas to add the required colours.
And here is one I did earlier - I should have paid more attention to my art teacher!! which is a very rough indication as to what I am thinking - circles tend to present themselves when I have completed the base layers - the artwork really does say - PUT IT THERE AND MAKE IT THIS SIZE as does where the colours should go!!
